Writing a spares requisition an engineer can quote in an hour

Maker, model, plate number, drawing position. Four fields that turn a two-day back-and-forth into one email.

The gap between a same-day quotation and a three-day one is almost never availability. It is whether we can identify the part without asking you three questions first.

Four fields, every line

Maker, equipment model, the nameplate serial, and the position number from the maker's parts drawing. With those we go straight to the agent's catalogue; without them we are matching photographs.

Say what it is for

Knowing the part is for a running repair rather than a stock top-up changes what we offer. Equivalents and OEM-alternate grades are useful when the vessel is sailing tomorrow and pointless when it is a shelf item.

Send it as a spreadsheet

One row per line with quantity and unit. A photographed handwritten list costs a day of clarification before anyone can price it.

What to send us
  • Attach the parts-drawing page if you have it
  • State urgency per line, not per order
  • Confirm the delivery port and expected ETA
